Historic Moment: Rashtra Raksha Vahini's 52-Member Delegation Reaches Kashmir Amid Indo-Pak Tensions – Visits 22 Former Militant-Hit Zones Led by National President Abhijeet Vishen

In a bold and unprecedented move, a 52-member high-level delegation of Rashtra Raksha Vahini led by Honourable National President Shri Abhijeet Vishen arrived in Kashmir on 6th May 2025, at a time when tensions between India and Pakistan were at their peak due to recent terrorist infiltration attempts and a counter airstrike by the Indian Armed Forces.

While many organizations and political leaders refrained from entering the Valley amid threats and heightened security alerts, Rashtra Raksha Vahini demonstrated unmatched courage, clarity of mission, and commitment to national service by stepping foot in the most sensitive zones of the region — especially 22 areas that had witnessed major militant attacks prior to February 2025.

This Rashtra Raksha Vahini Kashmir Delegation created a new precedent of peace-led nationalism and grassroots-level public outreach during conflict.

Each of these areas had been affected by violence, insurgency, or extremist activities. Rashtra Raksha Vahini's presence in these locations symbolized hope, courage, and a national call for peace through action.

Speaking during a local address in Sopore, Shri Abhijeet Vishen, National President of Rashtra Raksha Vahini, said:

“We are not here for politics. We are here to listen, serve, and rebuild. Rashtra Raksha Vahini believes Kashmir must rise again as the crown of India — not through slogans, but through real presence, action, and empathy. When the nation was threatened, our delegation stood up, not stood back.”

Shri Vishen emphasized that the Rashtra Raksha Vahini Kashmir Mission is non-political, people-driven, and guided by the principle of "Sewa, Suraksha aur Samriddhi" (Service, Security, and Prosperity).

During the visit from 6th to 13th May 2025, the Rashtra Raksha Vahini delegation carried out the following major initiatives:

• Medical & Relief Camps for underprivileged families in Tral, Kulgam, and Sopore

• Youth Engagement Programs to counter radicalization in Anantnag, Pulwama, and Bandipora

• Family Support Visits to households affected by terrorism

• Environmental Awareness Drives and plantation activities under the “Green Kashmir, Strong Kashmir” campaign

• Meetings with retired soldiers and martyrs’ families, offering emotional and logistical support
